Magic Fountain of Barcelona

We have made it to San Sebastian on the northern coast of Spain on the Atlantic.  The weather here is spectacular---80 degrees and beautiful sunshine all day.  This shot is of the beach known as "La Concha."  As the tide goes down people make their daily 'paseo.'

The water was pristine, cool and no rocks on the beach.

Actual shot from our camera...not a postcard.

San Sebastian's old town is known for its Pintxos bars.

Sergio, Sasha and Noah at Playa Gros
Sasha and Noah took surfing lessons with Sergio. The waves were pretty intense as surf "was up." They learned about the rip curl and break point.  They even got all the way up on their boards a couple of times.  The lesson was an intense 1.5 hour experience with the power of nature.  Mom and Dad stood on the beach, overcome with anxiety and terror as they watched the kids swept from one breaking wave to another.  Flipped upside down and dunked under the surf...the kids came back to the beach beaming.
